Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Create and execute innovative communication strategies and tactics to introduce new programs, processes and information, to drive employee engagement and business results.
  • Communication Advisor and Partner: Serve as a strategic advisor to various internal client groups — primarily focused on HR — to provide communication expertise and support for a variety of initiatives. 
  • Content Creation: Create, edit and manage high-quality, high-impact content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, social platforms, intranet, emails and presentations. Ensure messaging is clear, engaging and tailored to the audience (e.g., leadership, global employees, non-networked employees, etc.)
  • Change management: Support various change management initiatives, ensuring clear, consistent and effective messaging during organizational changes.
  • Leadership Communication: Serve as a key team member in the planning and execution of leadership meetings and events, including annual meetings, quarterly town halls and videos, ensuring messaging consistency and clarity across all levels of the organization.
  • Measurement and Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and channels, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Industry Trends: Stay on top of new industry trends and best practices in internal communications to help advance our work.
  • Collaboration: Build connections across the business to understand different audience segments and ensure communications resonate based on preferences, nuances and access. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field. 
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Communications or related fields, with a specific emphasis on enhancing employee experience and internal communications. A minimum of five years' experience leading and executing communication strategies for transformational HR initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences, via different channels. 
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to understand and relay complex information in an engaging way, interact effectively with all levels of the organization, and formulate and present ideas and information, clearly and concisely. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) or equivalent experience.

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $162,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
