BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. Salary range for this position is $80,000-95,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial analysis and reporting on income statement and balance sheet;
- Execute intercompany accounting process for BrandSafway;
- Perform monthly closing and financial statement responsibilities, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations in Blackline;
- Work with various departments and regions on trade intercompany and intercompany loan activity;
- Assist with the preparation of month end reporting requirements including balance sheet flux analysis;
- Drive continuous improvement changes related to the internal control environment including policy and process changes, and
- Engage with Treasury Department for cash movement needs between multi-national banks for trade intercompany settlements and other intercompany loan activity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
- Requires at least 3 - 5 years’ experience within an Accounting Department with relevant experience in General Accounting, preferably at multi-national organization with multiple locations;
- Superior communication skills with the ability to interface well with all levels of management and other functional areas;
- Excellent analytical skills with proven ability to apply critical thinking skills and problem solving;
- Strong technical skills/proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- High level of integrity and values to ensure accurate reporting of financial data, and
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP.
