Salary range for this position is $100k - 115k annually plus uncapped commissions! This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
Responsibilities:
- HUNTER! Generate sales leads promoting full range of scaffolding / motorized products/services to them, consistent with branch revenue and profitability goals.
- Account Management - increasing existing customer portfolio.
- Understand the customer requirements and prepare proposals that fulfill customer needs.
- Build relationships with customers with outward facing proactive approach to sales (Hunter mindset)
- Coordinate engineering services relating to proposals. Perform duties related to proposal preparation, such as reviewing blueprints and performing estimating.
- Present proposals to customers in a convincing manner and respond to customer questions and/or objections to secure the sale.
- Negotiate terms of sale to the best advantage of the company.
- Coordinate the sales, delivery, and/or erection and disassembly of scaffolding systems consistent with customer requirements and branch revenue and profitability goals.
- Provide leadership and assist Superintendents in the direction of job site work crews to fulfill customer requirements and maintain job profitability.
- Discuss job requirements with construction job site management or other personnel to ensure satisfaction of customer requirements and the safe utilization of company products and services.
- Leads best practice project management ensuring work is preformed safely and in a timely manner coordinating with multiple internal departments including Engineering, billing, safety & operations.
- Ensure excellent customer service, proactive and professional in all communications outward.
- Maintain documentation of sales activities and related expenses.
- Maintain current and accurate pipeline of sales through BrandSafway CRM interface (Salesforce).
- Maintain awareness of competitor’s sales efforts and programs in the branch territory.
- Develop short-term and long-term new customer targets with actionable goals to attain their business within a determined timeframe.
- Conduct quarterly “Lunch and Learn” with customers to enhance branch visibility in the market and allow customers to understand all capabilities of BrandSafway.
- Requires 5+ years of sales experience.
- Previous experience in the Construction industry preferred.
- Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle safely while carefully observing all traffic rules and regulations.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, company employees, and customer employees at job sites and give sales presentations and negotiate terms and conditions of sales to the best advantage of the company.
- Requires the ability to review and process important customer information (blueprints, plans, specifications, etc.) and prepare timely, accurate, and competitive bids for the sale and/or rental of scaffolding systems.
- Requires ability to process complex time-sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions based on this data, and effectively communicate the related required actions to customers and company personnel.
Physical Requirements
- Ascend/Descend- Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder/steps/hoists on job sites.
- Communicate-The ability to communicate information and ideas to others. Must be able to exchange accurate information in all situations with customers and internal teams.
- Detect-The ability to observe details at close range on the computer or further away on job sites.
- Exposure to work-Consistently works in outdoor weather conditions meeting with customers on job sites.
