Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Logistics to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless project execution.
  • Conduct weekly project management meetings to align operations, ensuring timely Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation for proper maintenance and availability. Collaborate with engineering to meet drawing submittal deadlines and secure client approvals, minimizing rework, last-minute revisions, material shortages, or substitutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Aluma products, including parts, pieces, and local branch inventory, and their assembly processes.
  • Provide training on standard, new and unconventional Aluma equipment as required.
  • Act as a troubleshooter, identifying potential challenges and offering coaching or solutions to customers.
  • Coordinate with engineering to prioritize and schedule drawing deliveries for various project phases.
  • Ensure customers assemble equipment according to the latest engineering drawings on complex jobs, requiring mandatory updates and revisions from engineering.
  • Report layout or square footage changes against agreed offers to both Engineering and Sales.
  • Review blueprints and pre-plans to recommend best practices and improvements.
  • Submit engineering requests during ongoing jobs, focusing on customer-specific needs and optimal equipment usage.
  • Keep material and engineering demands updated to reflect project needs accurately.
  • Release material or engineering specifications as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Track the cycling of forming and shoring systems to evaluate productivity rates as required.
  • Document job visits with photographs and share them internally to build a historical project portfolio.
  • Provide on-site guidance for the initial erection of forming and shoring equipment, delivering instructions when requested by the client. Note: Continuous on-site presence or instruction may incur additional hourly charges.
  • Offer on-site solutions in collaboration with the engineering department to ensure safety and productivity standards while meeting customer needs.
  • Proactively report risks, equipment misuse, improper storage, or potential loss to the client, Logistics, and Sales, using verbal and formal communication (including photographs).
  • Coordinate with Logistics upon job assignment to ensure project alignment, including visiting job sites with drawings, delivery tickets, and release forms for smooth operations.
  • Report logistic errors such as counting discrepancies, damaged equipment, or delivery issues, and collaborate on replacements to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Perform on-site material counts when needed, verifying alignment with engineering releases and delivery tickets to catch discrepancies early.
  • Track and report site schedules, pour dates, and material return timelines to Sales, Engineering, and Logistics.
  • Generate technical job site reports as requested.
  • Consolidate field data monthly to support lump sum contract reviews and updates.
  • Assist the sales team in quoting complex projects by providing technical recommendations for optimal systems, performing take-offs, and analyzing schedules to develop an accurate global price estimate based on project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with emphasis on business, marketing, mathematics, engineering, or similar discipline or equivalent time in work experience.
  • At least 3-5 years outside sales experience in construction field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Must possess valid driver's license
  • Must be able to travel locally and some overnight travel – minimal
 

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $100k - $120k annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
