Responsabilités 

• Participer à la préparation du plan de production;
• Superviser le suivi et le contrôle des inventaires ainsi que l’application et le maintien des procédures et politiques d’inventaire;
• Participer à l’implantation et du suivi du système ERP de l’entreprise au niveau de système manufacturier;
• Être responsable du B.O.M. et du Costing;
• responsable de l'amélioration continue des processus et méthodes;
• Participer au processus budgétaire;
• Fournir divers rapports pour son supérieur immédiat;
• Analyser les systèmes et procédés de fabrication et émettre des recommandations en vue d’une utilisation optimale des ressources humaines, des matières premières et de l’équipement. Participer à la réalisation, la gestion et la supervision de certains projets de production. Cerner les besoins, déterminer les solutions possibles, effectuer des recherches, faire des études de coûts et émettre des recommandations ;
• Participer à l’élaboration, l’analyse et l’évaluation des demandes d’investissement relatives aux procédés de fabrication et aux installations d’usine;
• Participer activement à solutionner les problèmes de fabrication et d’assemblage;
• Participer activement à divers projets Kaizen;
• Appliquer toutes les exigences en qualité se rapportant à ses fonctions tels que stipulées dans le manuel de qualité;
• Participer à la mise en place de tout nouveaux systèmes en production;
• Rédiger des rapports de suivi;
• Exécuter tous autres travaux exigés par son supérieur immédiat.

Qualifications 

• 3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans une entreprise manufacturière, de préférence liée au secteur  métallurgique;
• Expérience en gestion de personnel;
• Détenir un BAC en génie industriel ou Technicien en Génie industriel avec de l'expérience ou tout autre domaine connexe
• Maîtrise de l’informatique, environnement Windows, logiciels Word, Excel et AUTO CAD, système MRP, Autodesk Inventor et Vault;
• Syteline ERP (un atout);
• Bilinguisme;
• Familier avec les normes ISO 9000. Connaissance des méthodes de résolution de problèmes et des principes d’amélioration continue;
• Être membre en règle de l’OIQ (un atout);
• Autonomie et initiative;
• Aptitudes pour relations interpersonnelles;
• Être un bon communicateur et ce avec les personnes de tous les niveaux hiérarchiques;
• Esprit d’équipe;
• Porter volontiers main-forte pour accomplir le travail;

Key Responsibilities

• Under the authority of the Director of Operations, the Industrial Engineer is responsible for organizing the use of the means of production in such a way as to ensure the efficient, safe and economical use of personnel, materials and equipment. It helps to improve the profitability and performance of the company. The Industrial Engineer is responsible for the development, maintenance and advancement of the ERP system.
• Participate in the preparation of the production plan;
• Oversee the monitoring and control of inventories as well as the application and maintenance of inventory procedures and policies;
• Participate in the implementation and monitoring of the company's ERP system at the manufacturing system level;
• Be responsible for the B.O.M. and Costing;
• Responsible for the continuous improvement of processes and methods;
• Participate in the budget process;
• Provide various reports for their immediate supervisor;
• Analyze manufacturing systems and processes and make recommendations for optimal use of human resources, raw materials and equipment. Participate in the realization, management and supervision of certain production projects. Identify needs, determine possible solutions, conduct research, conduct cost studies and make recommendations;
• Participate in the development, analysis and evaluation of investment requests relating to manufacturing processes and plant facilities;
• Actively participate in solving manufacturing and assembly problems;
• Actively participate in various Kaizen projects;
• Apply all quality requirements related to his/her duties as stipulated in the quality manual;
• Participate in the implementation of brand new systems in production;
• Write follow-up reports;
• Perform any other work required by his immediate superior.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing company, preferably related to the metallurgical sector;
• Experience in personnel management;
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Engineering Technician with experience or any other related field
• Computer proficiency, Windows environment, Word, Excel and AUTO CAD software, MRP system, Autodesk Inventor and Vault;
• Syteline ERP (an asset);
• Bilingualism;
• Familiar with ISO 9000 standards. Knowledge of problem-solving methods and principles of continuous improvement;
• Be a member in good standing of the OIQ (an asset);
