Salary range for this position is $72,800 - $83,200 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate forecasting, trending and measuring actuals against Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) / Key Elements consistent with the project contracts.
  • Create, maintain and communicate the budget, variance to budget and variance request log weekly, monthly and annually (project related).
  • Analyze the activities on site for the project, determine and report on how these activities affect the results of the project (not just financial results).
  • Assist Project Controls on generating and maintaining reports on required frequency including but not limited to estimated vs. actual labor & materials; inspection requirements & results; safety performance; inventory/materials issues; dismantle performance.
  • Assist Project Manager and Senior Leadership on presentations
  • Assist management and the IT staff in the implementation including but not limited to X-Tool and Attendance System/SAP interface and all site/client specific tracking software.
  • Drive consistency in monthly reports over all various customer sites.
  • Perform general office work due to employee absence or increased work volume.
  • Manage and coordinate collection efforts, job costing procedures, financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase orders, and billing activities to maximize project revenue. 
  • Perform supervisory duties including training in accordance with company policies, procedures, new and/or improved work techniques and applicable employment laws to maximize project efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor and review with management Performance Management Plans (PMP’s), performance appraisals (performed annually) and progression plans for specified project personnel.
  • Conduct and attend regularly scheduled meetings to prioritize work and/or alter the work schedule to deal with shifting priorities during the workday or week of specified project personnel.


Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a supervisory role with experience in the chemical/petrochemical industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and specified project personnel.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to present a professional image to inspire and coach employees to accomplish strategic goals and related tasks.
  • Process complex time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions based on this data, handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion and effectively communicate the related actions to management, customers and specified project personnel.
  • Requires the ability to use a personal computer and word processing, spreadsheets, and related business operations software.
  • TWIC card highly recommended.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.  The employee is occasionally required to stand, and/or walk.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds while moving files or manuals.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May require the wearing of safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, safety harness, hearing protection, hard hat, and protective gloves, and site specific personal protective equipment while working at the various job sites.
