Key Responsibilities

• Develop baselines for budgets and schedules and forecast resource requirements;
• Manage cost control, performance measurement, and change management processes;
• Implement and ensure accurate performance measurements and prepare project reports;
• Provide input to proposal preparation and project execution plan development;
• Ensure compliance with Company and customer policies and procedures;
• Provide leadership and education in zero-incident safety culture and safe work practices;
• Business controls documentation, coordination and support activities used to manage day-to-day business and client audits;
• Tracking any value initiatives for clients;
• Provide business analysis to Management team as needed;
• Provide leadership, and guidance to project controls administrative team;
• Ability to train, develop, and mentor team members;
• Participate in development activities for continual improvement in the project control system & services;
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications

• 8-10 years related experience, preferably in an industrial setting;
• Previous experience in estimating and forecasting is preferred;
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or another technical field from an accredited university is preferred
• Project management certification is preferred;
• A basic understanding of SAP is considered an asset; 
• Working knowledge and skills in the use of software such as Power BI and Business Objects with report writing experience is required; Primavera P6 would be an asset
• Expert proficiency in Excel with the ability to create and utilize complex formulas and functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
• Strong time management and organization skills in order to meet various competing deadlines;
• Ability to work within a multi-functional team and build a positive team environment;
• Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment with competing demands;
• Ability to display sound and accurate judgment with the ability to resolve problems in a timely manner
