BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. Salary range for this position is $110K-$140K annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly support the Product team through steering data science initiatives and driving decisions to empower market leading solutions.
  • Acquiring and extracting data from multiple sources, internal and external, cleansing, validating, and consolidating for use.
  • Research and devise innovative statistical models for sustainable data analysis.
  • Enable smarter and more efficient business processes by using analytics for meaningful insights and decreased time to decision.
  • Utilize machine learning tools to find patterns and subsequently develop prediction tools to be employed.
  • Build and lead solutions for the maintenance lifecycle of our products to include predictive analytics and optimal service interval planning.
  • Play an active leadership role for development of a telematics platform to be used in new product development and in market use.
  • Deliver sustainable market prediction tools for product lines and products, considering change management and evolving markets and solution use.
  • Provide price modeling solutions across multi-market and customer bases to include competitive advantage solutions and commoditized areas.
  • Value based sales tools to support teams in capitalizing on revenue for premium solutions to customers.
  • New Product Development support throughout the toll gate process to include business case development to forecasting product deliveries.
  • Deliver visual tool suite, such as through Power BI, for standard KPI monitoring and tracking along with unique decisions required.  
  • Support M&A activities, as needed, that fall into the product area.
  • Keep current with technical and industry developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics or Data Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of data work experience.
  • Experience in SQL & Python.  Experience in or willingness to learn development in visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • UI/UX experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to use financial models to understand margins, costs and create scenarios models.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical techniques and make sound recommendations and judgments from analysis.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-20% annually.
Physical Demands:
  • This position requires that an employee be able to stand, walk, and navigate typical construction sites. Occasionally reach, stretch, climb, crouch, push or pull large objects; requires finger and hand dexterity, grasping with repetitive motion. Hearing and visual acuity is required.
