Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively sell/prospect end-user business to support branch sales.
- Coordinate local branch sales with current/prospect customer base for suspended access solutions.
- Actively support PI Operations through product training and technical support of Suspended access materials of various manufacturers.
- Estimate using engineering background and connect with Engineering as needed.
- Perform on-going support functions with the branch network via phone, Teams, physical visits, to encourage best practices, safe-use, and compliance with BrandSafway procedures.
- Introduce BSW sales to full complement of Suspended COE products, coordinate internal training, and advise operational personnel as required.
- Positively reinforce quality installation work.
- Work with Sales Team to develop sales plan for the branch/area; also assist in the development and presentation of major project presentations to customers.
- Keep abreast of competitive activity including products and technologies.
- Communicating with customers, project managers and superintendents on design changes, value engineering, budget variation, and scheduling.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; develops realistic action plans.
- Works within approved budget; develops and implements cost savings measures; contributes to profits and revenues; understands business implications of decisions; aligns work with strategic goals; ensure project profitability/labor and material rate of return.
- Constructively support E&D teams to build and maintain equipment.
- Assist in resolution of product performance issues and breakdowns.
- Conduct product training as required.
- Collaborate with/support BrandSafway in resolving product quality and performance issues.
- Represent BSW in the capacity of Qualified Person as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4 years in the Permanent Installation Business Preferred, minimum swing stage experience (4 years).
- A minimum of 3 years business-to-business outside sales experience in this geographic area (preferably commercial construction scaffold / access related and/or industrial scaffold, coatings, or insulation) with demonstrated skills and success in new account development.
- Associate degree or Equivalent Experience.
- Knowledge of Sales Force Dot Comm is a plus.
- Should be fluent in Microsoft Suite of Applications
- Requires the ability to review and process important customer information (blueprints, plans, specifications) and prepare timely accurate, and competitive bids for the sale and/or rental of materials.
- Ability to make decisions, research and resolve problems, work independently, and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities and complete multiple projects and activities with strict time sensitive deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills & proficiency in Excel.
- Highly organized, outstanding attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, company employees, and customer employees at job sites and give sales presentations and negotiate terms and conditions of sales to the best advantage of the company.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
- Work well within a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and work well under pressure.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand for continuous periods of time, walk, have clarity of vision, talk, and hear. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to walk, lift items up to 75 pounds and reach with hands and arms. Visual requirements.
