Key Responsibilities:

• Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material
• Assist welders, carpenters, painters or other tradespeople on-site
• Handle and transport materials (e.g. cement) and equipment (e.g. drills and grinders)
• Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods)
• Put up warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby
• Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g. scaffolding)
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience working
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to operate under and comply with strict safety guidelines
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Must be physically strong and agile - capable of lifting 50 pounds of dead weight and carry it for 100 yards
• Good balance and hand and eye coordination 
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, twist, and bend for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work in local weather conditions.

The salary range for this position is $30k - $36k annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
