The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis is a critical leader within the finance team, responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. This role partners with senior leadership to provide insights that drive business decisions, optimize financial performance, and enhance corporate strategy. The ideal candidate has strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and experience managing complex financial models in a fast-paced corporate environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead FP&A reporting processes (monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting).
  • Prepare financial reports for the CFO and executive leadership team, providing clear insights into company performance, trends, and strategic opportunities.
  • Prepare annual budgets and long-term financial projections.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and proactively recommend corrective actions.
  • Evaluate financial and operational KPIs to track business performance.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including North American Finance, Supply Chain and Engineering to understand financial impacts and business drivers.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Support senior leadership in strategic planning and investment decisions.
  • Work with senior leaders to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to influence key business decisions.
  • Contribute to corporate initiatives as needed, including M&A and strategic investments.
  • Support analyst development and foster a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and support professional growth.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and financial discipline across the teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Work with finance and IT teams to implement automation tools for efficiency gains.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency in financial reporting systems.
     

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related financial role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ideally including financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion ) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) a plus.
 

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
